Anyone have problems with windows sticking in the AM when it's freezing?
It's not even like i'm trying to roll them down, it's just when I open the door and the window drops slightly. Normally wouldn't bother me but I can't properly close the door until it drops that half inch.
Any advice? I used silicone today and we'll see if it helps tomorrow AM.

That has happens to me a few times every winter...The last time I got 'iced out', i was parked at Manchester, NH airport near the wind tunnel on the top deck. I took a flight out when it was raining (40's) and returned a week later after a serious cold snap (-30 F with the windchill). All the moisture was trapped inthe seam, and the rest was simply sucked out of the air. It was so cold and dry.
After about an hour, I successfully broke into the car. (The doors were frozen too). I thought I was going to rip the doorhandle off. Very frustrating. I had to flex the window seam in and out a bit to get it to separate.
This happens all the time up north. You just learn to live with it. I'm sure the window servo will wear out after another 10 winters.

Yeah, car is outside overnight. I'm looking at a soft side garage to protect it a little but it'll still be outside. Besides, it is just a dd winter beater.
the silicone seems to have been helping. No stuck windows since lube but it'll be -15 C this week, that'll be the true test.
