380mm Brembo Gran Turismo?

I don't track my car but I want my baby to be unique in every sense, hence the cf parts etc. Not so many cars around have this upgrade or none at all, so should I go for the 380mm Brembo GT upgrade?
- Willl these fit my standard 997.1 C2S 19in sports wheels?
- What would be the benefits, any downs besides the price for both the rear and the front.
- Would I still be able to use spacers?
- Resale value?

Please tell your experiences... Thank you!

And what other upgrades (power) would you suggest for the same amount of money to be spent? Cos aesthetically, the car is spot on as far as I'm concerned

Yes they will fit your car, with 19" wheels, and you can use your spacers if you want.

The benefits of a larger brake system would be more heat disbursement, but since you don't track, you won't need it.

The down side would be a need to run R comps to get enough grip on the road to handle the braking capacity of the 15" rotors, otherwise you will likely have your ABS going off a lot. You also will increase your unsprung weight, therefore your car will accelerate slower.

The 380 kit will certainly fit your 19inch factory wheels on your 997. In regards to the breaks you will find that your breaking distances will be much shortly and your pedal feel is out of this world. We've been running this same set up on my personal car for just over a year and I cant think of any down sides.

Your spacers would still work just fine with the new brake setup and lastly they brakes tend to hold there value very well.

Will most 18" rims fit on 350mm front Brembos or are they too large for 18" rims as well?

Braking is a function of friction/grip, without changing the tires to something wider or stickier your braking distance shouldn't change significantly. Did you change your tires at the same time as the brakes? Also did you replace the brake lines with steel braided ones when you changed the brake system?
