i am reading all your posts about supercharge or turbo 997.
i read some infos of a carrera 996 with engine of a turbo one without problems.
how possible is this in 997?the problem is in "cost" or in mechanic job?

 

It would be less expensive to get an SC bought and installed than to replace your engine with a TT engine. Once the TPC Turbo kit comes out for public consumption (currently in testing), that, too, would be a less expensive option than buying and refitting a Turbo engine into your car.

it is not only the cost but also figuring out how to intercool it... we have a client with a RUF RTS with a sportec GT2 motor in it... We had to completely redesign the IC system as the car didnt have ports in front of the wheel wells for cooling... so we did an A/W ic system, it is something we are familiar with as that is how we cool our added FI cars... as long as your pockets are deep nearly anythign is possible.

 

first of all my thoughts was about reliability as it is a oem turbo engine.
second i am not sure that i can trust supercharge or turbo in my car especially because i live in europe and if i need something in or after installation will be hard for me
