997 C4S: how to remove headlight washer covers...

I would like to black-out the headlight washer covers (currently chrome), but don't know if there is a way to remove them without taking off the bumper.

Thanks.

I do believe that you do need to take the bumper cover off......it is real easy to do!

I believe they can be pried off without removing the bumper and are just a pressure fit. But, to be 100 % sure email Eric at Bumper Plugs. They sell them painted so must know how to remove the old one. You can still paint them yourself. If they won't help let me know. I have the instructions somewhere and can PM them to you.

headlight washercovers

no need to take the bumper off, lift the washer head to expose entire cover then slip small flat head srewdriver under the base of the cover and work the cover off carefully.
