Pics of 997 in snow
We had our first real snowfall of the season today. Thought I'd take a couple of pics of my 997.2. This is my DD and of course the winter shoes are on. Went for a nice drive in the snow today.
For those of you who drive your car in the winter, please feel free to post pics of your 911 in the snow.

Gotta hand it to you...;
Wow, I had my 09 C2 in the rain once in 6 months (2,900 miles).It was on the way home from the dealership on day 1......................Don't think I have the "calzones": to take it out in the snow, albeit I am in sunny south Florida, but then again, the pot holes and lack of a spare alone would make me freak ..........I relocated from NYC a few years back and could not imagine owning this car there...................
Best of luck

Wow, great pictures in the snow.
That is very different from the day we had here in Los Angeles.
It was almost 80 degrees.
Sometimes I wish I lived in an area that had real seasons.

I'm jealous. You kept the good wheels on. I got this set of Carrera III wheels with new snows last month locally from a former 997.1 owner.
The car is quite good in the snow. Rear traction is better than my prior 550 sport with snows and 3 tubes of sand in the trunk. I wonder if putting some weight in the front trunk might help the front end stick a bit better for corners on the slippery stuff?
Have fun. Be Safe and enjoy winter!

I would'nt drive mine on the roads (unless absolutely necessary) just for the reasons cited by rated_m but the snow did not prevent me from having some fun in my yard. I tested my car's new snowboots by doing some laps in the frontyard for a good fifteen minutes...

....I must say I was mightily impressed with her performance on 6 to 7 inches of snow on the grass. Too bad, now my lawn badly needs a good aeration come spring time thanks to my indiscretion. I hope that I have not annoyed or evoked jealousy in the minds of any warmer weather friends with my little fun act in the snow

I certainly don't miss the cold winters of Wisconsin, but these pics make me wish I could have a little fun in the snow. Then again, 80 degrees in So Cal this weekend sure was nice. Great to see you guys enjoying your rides!

30 inches and counting.
