BlueJay73 is infamous around these parts
Iridium plugs

Since some of our 997's are reaching the 4yr/40,000mi sparkplug change interval recommended by the manual, anybody have any info about using iridium plugs vs platinums?
Consider:
--cost for 6 plugs not the issue
--3.6/3.8l naturally aspirated, no mods, factory stock engine
--DD, not track car (although I want my DD to perform well, of course).

Thanks

Edit: Oops. My mistake. Interval is 60,000mi, not 40,000mi

ALL plugs, properly gapped will perform the same. 1 ground or 4 ground will all perform the same. Because of unleaded fuel, all plugs will last 50,000+ miles in a stock engine.

REPEAT. All properly gapped plugs will perform the same no matter how much they cost.

Therefore, pick your favorite brand and go with price. I get my 6 NGK's for less than $25.
