Again, do not know the details. Might be the wrong color, heavily optioned turbo, etc. I wasn't in the market so didn't bother to ask but was an email coming directly from the dealer. I know 20-22k was the standard discount at that time.

OK... found the email. Deleted the names but looks like the 32k was for a turbo cab.

Hello again,

It's that time of the year again. Porsche of Stevens Creek is having our last sale of the year. Even if you have seen some of our offers previously, you will be amazed by these end of the year specials.

Some quick highlights are a $299 plus tax per month Boxster lease, a $499 plus tax per month 2010 Cayenne lease, and $32k off a 2009 911 Turbo Cab! Please see me or follow this link for details:
http://www.stevenscreekporsche.com/specials-1.aspx

If you have been waiting for deals on the remaining 2009's, now is the time. Availability is limited - in fact the only remaining 2009's left are Boxster's and Carrera's. Not to worry if you are looking for a Cayenne or Cayman as we have 2010's in stock. Please see me soon for your best selection. These offers absolutely end after 12/31/2009. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thanks again for choosing Porsche of Stevens Creek.

Best regards,

Porsche of Stevens Creek

The sales price is w/o sales tax . . . no sales tax here in Oregon.

As for Carrera, I'd love to buy local, but their pricing is not nearly as competitive - i.e. many thousands more . . .

Guys.....I'm between a 2010 GT3 (9k off MSRP) and an 09 C2S which I can drive $20k off. I won't be tracking the car but love the GT3 for looks, sound, wow factor etc.

Both are color I want . Question: the 09 C2S doesn't have sport chrono. Is that a major resale issue? 2 dealers have told me not to touch a leftover without sport chrono....people want it.....should I stay away?

This is a beautiful car . 92K OTD for this color/option car is quite good. I happen to love the Terracotta and have it in my PDK car . In fact Gt silver /Terra is a very traditional porsche combination. I found the car too . I like it!!! The dealership has experience shipping and this ought work out well for you.

I found a Turbo coupe on the website and it probably won't get 32K off but it is the last of the Gt1 Turbos priced far below the 2010 refresh .

The options on that Gt3 are important . The dynamic engine mounts area must have and I feel the sport chrono on the 09 C2S would be a dealbreaker for me . Dollar for dollar the Gt3 is the better value but if you plan to drive that car on the street you may also need the front axle lift . That front spoiler does not give much room without it . You also will need PS2 tires if you drive in the rain . Those stocks tires are made for a dry track but take that car on a wet public road and it's too much risk.

Yes, it was cream white. I do not see it there anymore, so I am thinking it is gone.

Creme white was a new color fail. Think about this .. it was launched at the height of white's big comeback from the 80's . It simply did not sell.

Compare it to silver for a moment .. when silver was flying off the lots almost every share of gray sold well. Seal,Atlas,Slate.Meteor,Gt, Actic, (I wish the brought back polar).
