help: oem battery needs replacement , I can't find radio code anywhere in docs. 2nd owner , where can I go to find this

 

When I removed the CDR 24 to replace with a PCM 2 in my old 987, the alarm light went on and it asked for code. Once I hit the ignition key, it came back to normal...

I'm the first owner of my cars and I can't recall a code anywhere in the manual, I could be wrong but I think the device won't ask for a code if you use your key...

 

which version 1 or 2?

 

I replaced the CDR 23 with the 2.1 version. Not worth it by the way...

the code isn't in the anual- it is on a separate piece of plastic like a credit card in the manuals / documentation case

 

my dealer just told me theres no code for the 997.2's. tks
