Durametric v6 with enthusiast cable

Hi,

Can somebody who owns this please sum up what exactly can v6 of their software change in car settings (other than error code erase feature) with standard $287 cable and what only prof. version of cable can do? I cannot find proper features list nowhere, it only mentions 'some options'.

The Enthusiast version is good for 3 cars only (by VIN #), and the Professional version is good for an unlimited number of cars.

The enthusiast cable does not allow to change any settings (any more). It became a simple DIAGNOSTIC cable. So somehow we are forced to buy the professional cable if you want to "individualize" your PCar.

It's time for a group buy, isn't it ?

i am totally confused now. I was under impression version 6 (beta?) was supposed to be able to change something even with enthusiast cable?

pro cable is way too expensive, it is easier to go to my mechanic who has PIWIS.

BTW, be careful if you buy one of these online via eBay, Craigslist, etc. I bought one, and it turned out to be counterfeit.

Did you end up picking up the software or trying it? I'm nearby and would be curious to see if it if you wouldn't mind.
