TURBO-PR is infamous around these parts
New P-Car?

I am interested in buying a 2010 997 4S PDK or a 2010 Mercedes benz E63.

I had a 997 TT 2009 and sold it because rarly drive a manual around in heavy traffic.

Now I need a daily driver.

If you need a Daily Driver and are in Puerto Rico, I would go for the Benz. And if you need a Benz, I can put you in touch with a good guy over at Garage Isla Verde.

Thanks, I know them all at the delear. I have bought from them before.

I find the Benz more useful but the price of a fully loaded E63 is roughly the same as a 997 4S PDK.

I love PR -been many years since I've been but I do not like the E63 . It's fast and well appointed but there is a lack of road feel that turns the car into boredom . Even worse --by the time one is really bored it's value depreciated faster than a falling rock.

My vote goes to the Panamera Turbo.

E63 score over the 911 in the following areas: Plenty of space including a big trunk, extremely buttock friendly (soft ride), quiet cabin, loads of power and will not attract attention. Can even park in dollar store or Walmart.911 scores over the E63 in "road feel" i.e ride is raw and visceral, immaculate cornering andsublime steering. For me a 911 any day, but if I did not have a uhaul @ home (the minivan), I would have gone the E63 or M5 way.

Maybe the 07-09 were a bit 'numb' but not the 2010. They have upgraded suspension and new tranny.......depreciation hits all autos.

Forgot to mention...talking from experience, the E63 is way better as a daily driver.

I second. I tried to vote 'C: none of the above' and choose the Panamera but couldn't find the box with my #2 pencil. I'm not sure that PR is a great place for a 997 - with or w/o PDK and AWD. But the E63 is a very big and fairly boring car. It's at the opposite end of the periodic table of automobiles. But the new 4 door Porsche? Seems perfect. I'd like choose the mid-range model, but either way it's a gem.

I never thought I would like the Panamera as much as i do. I'm generally not a big sedan person but was offered a test drive . I was amazed at how well a car of this size can accomplish both comfort and handling. It is the ultimate sedan for those who need comfort, space, and Hp.
