I changed mine, I used an adapter from autozone that was 1.99, i am pretty sure it was a 2 1/8 to a 2 1/2 inch adapter, I can check if anyone would like.

I just chatted with a dealer from Stevens Creek Porsche regarding design of the double oval vs. the quad-tip design. He said that I'm probably the only person on the planet to like them more. I'm now very surprised to learn that so many people actually like them. Personally, I like the oval stainless steel sport tips on the 997.1 C2 the most. There are a little bigger ("fatter and filling-looking") than the regular ovals found on the 997.1 C2 that look a little squashed in comparison. They are also close to the size of the tips found on the 997.2 C2 although the design of the outer round edge looks somewhat better on the 997.2 C2 (IMHO).

Yes could you check for me ? I'm looking to go to quads. I'm amazed that autozone sells this!

I agree 100%. I swapped my S tips for the ovals on a 997.2. No adapter needed.

I replaced the ovals on my 997.2 with Fabspeed quads and love them. Still have the ovals that I changed out at 14k miles. Anyone interested, make me an offer.

I much prefer the quads to the ovals and swapped them out as soon as I could.
