Raceday ...
Heading for my first 'Raceday' tomorrow, a fun day with the local Porsche Club on the 3.2km racetrack in the dessert.
Not the first time I am on the course nor the first time on a track, but first time with my 911S Cab (911 Coupe and S Loaner before).
Do you guys have any recommendations on preparations, i.e.:
Can't wait to take my baby out ...

- tire pressure
- type of fuel (regular 91 or?)
- Oil
- Any other preparations?

Tire pressure is dependent on the temperature, how hard you are pushing, type and size of tire, etc. I would suggest using the triangles at the edge of the tires as an indicator. If you are wearing right to the triangle, then your pressures are good, you should start higher, and let out a few pounds after you get them up to heat.
Fuel, I use 94 octane, but if you can only get 91 then you will be fine.
Oil, bring an extra litre (quart) and watch you gauge, it will use more on the track then on the street.
Remove as much stuff from your car, including mats, owners manual, basically anything that you won't need or that isn't strapped down.
Enjoy the day!
