green dry spot on my front lip ?
green dry spot on my front lip ?
I washed the car tonight and found a spot on my front lip about the size of a quarter . No leaks anywhere . No warning lights . About 100 miles since the car was washed last -plus it has been driven in heavy traffic as well as the highway in rain conditions.
First thought - someone else in traffic had a leak and it kicked onto the lip . White car shows green very well.
Second -power steering --but wouldn't that be at the rear ?
Third PDK fluid --but that's at the rear too ?
It washed off with soap and water but did not just rinse off with water alone. It was dry and a very small spot.
Took the car for a drive after washing it . No green spot .
Any ideas?

Chuck, are you sure nobody was trying to throw green Skittles in your face?
look it up...S*ittle = large, hairy, green, flying something that proliferates on the Florida penninsula

I am feeling better now
I saw 6 posts and imagined anything.
It was the color of this little geen icon.
Come to think of it I did drive behind a lawn maintenance truck on US1 . I'll give it a few days and update if it returns .

The only thing that comes to mind are the radiators in the front...
I had that issue with Mini Cooper S and it turned out to be a leak in thermostat housing...it was greenish fluid in front of driver side wheel...I thought it was windshield wiper fluid at first but one day my engine overheated and they discovered I had bad thermostat housing...but I have no idea where this is on your Porsche...
.
the radiator is reasonably far back from the front bumper and if there was a leak there would be a lot more coolant visible than a single drop in that location...could be coolant from another vehicle
