Brake dust possibly? New wheels (if they are the proper ones) should not make your brakes squeak.

Totally seperate items...brakes and wheels. Try finding a long counrty road with ZERo traffic and get up to 60-70 and do 3-5 medium stops down to 25 and then do 2-3 hard stops activating ABS....you probably have glazed the pads/rotors with light brake dragging street driving style stops and they need to be cleaned off.

+1. do a google search on "bedding" your brakes. there's plenty of info out there, and it's the best thing you can do for your brakes.
