I was there today and it was sitting on the showroom floor , right next to an orange Gt3 , a customized Cayenne S , and a PDK Turbo Cab .

This was quite an impressive base 997. Stunning car!!!

FWIW, the 997.1 "GT3" aero kit will not work on a 2009-2010. I have been trying to get the new Porsche part number for the 997.2 aero kit and check on the availability. I am not having great success. The front end on the car at the collection doesn't look ike the new GT3 aero front bumper. The new GT3 front bumper has subtle changes in the front middle.

You are right its a base carrera... even the gauges are black like the base model ("S" has white gauges, unless custom ordered differently.)
