Fair price?

Hi all.

I have been on the hunt for a Targa and I have found one. This is a 2008 Targa 4S, CPOed, 12,000 miles and heavily optioned. Its original sticker was $115,000. What would be a fair price to pay for this car from the Porsche dealer? Thanks in advance, I sincerely appreciate the assistance!

Regards,
Frank A.

Don't know what they're asking for that car, but keep in mind the 4S Targa is a very expensive car. The turbo is only a stone's throw away.

The dealer want to sell it to me for $80 + shipping. Seems high to me. What do you think? Thanks again.

80 OTD? Was that a bargained deal or asking? Buying sight unseen? Sounds like you're possibly in the range. Personally I find it very hard to imagine buying a car without seeing before delivery. For the $80k, I'd spend another $600 to fly and look at the car prior to having it shipped. But that's just me. I would also get a full PPI and DME scan once you agree a price.

Definitely agree with RyeM3...go see the car first.

Also, the P dealer here in Cary, NC has an '07 Turbo w/ 5k miles for $87...saw it the other day and it is nice!
