PCM 3.0 Retrofit? What next with old unit?

Have replaced my single CD/DVD PCM 3.0 with one with Nav and internal changer PCM 3.0 and wonder if my old PCM 3.0 has any value for sale or use by anyone? What would be the best selling price for it? Would it be useable by a non PCM 3.0 2009-20010 car whose owner wanted to step things up a bit?
Maybe I'll ebay it? Thoughts? If anyone is interested feel free to PM me.

Is that internal changer something that can be added to a PCM 3, or does that require a new PCM unit as well?

Steve, I believe the answer (common w/ Becker) is yes and no. It's probably feasible but too expensive. I've read that the migration to nav system on the PCM is a matter of adding the hard disk, but again, might not be worth it at this time. Perhaps in the near future folks may ad a HD w/ the maps or Becker may get it as a core exchange...

Selling the PCM 3 depends on the presence of BOSE. Maybe someone would be interested in migrate from a CDR 24 to a PCM 3, but effectively, the advantage would be playing DVD-MP3 and perhaps BT/Ipod integration, if your have it.

Try eBay it, but be very clear that it is NOT a nav, cause people will see the NAV and MAP buttons and may as well assume it. I gave up selling stuff on eBay because of people like that and the stupid pre answered questions...

Thanks..I may ebay it. Yes you cannot just add NAV to the PCM 3.0 from what I have been told by adding a module. The retrofit has you buy a new PCM 3.0 unit thus the reason I now have two..one in the car and another one on the dinning room table!

No the internal changer comes as a seperate new PCM 3.0 unit which is what the upgrade/retrofit to NAV is. Since I didn't have NAV in my PCM 3.0 initially I had to retrofit it by getting a new PCM 3.0 which came with the changer.

Here you go!
http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...2s_electronics

My dealer worked with me a bit and applied a discount so it wasn't as much as Suncoast but that's a good starting point.
