Great Place to Get a Clear Bra in LA!

I just got my clear bra done at Advanced Auto Engineering in Alhambra. They did an amazing job. Owner (8 year experience) works on the car himself with an assistant. I couldn't be happier.

I went with the cheapo version, the half hood, partial fenders, and bumper. This kit includes the rear view mirrors and door handles. I paid a little extra for the headlights and fog lights.

They are so much cheaper than some of other places I've gotten quotes from. Like, almost 50% cheaper. He gave me a great quote for covering the entire hood, too, but I'm not all that particular and I wanted to save money, so I went with the basic. He uses the 3M Ventureshield (one company now) pre-cut.

When I was there, there was a guy with a ZR1 who was getting his entire car covered with this stuff. He said that he had his M6 done 3 years ago and it's still pristine.

I definitely vouch for these guys.

Extra thanks to v35 for your personal recommendation to these guys!

I'm glad you're happy with my recommendation, more $$$ doesn't always mean better. Scott's work is definitely worth more than he charges. Good choice doing the lights too, small price to pay to keep them from hazing and chipping.

how much were you charged if you do not mind. Getting a GT3 bumper and considering getting clear bra on the bumper. This might work even better since Alhambra is close to me

Is it Kosher to quote prices on these threads?

Guess one way to find out:

I paid $480 for the usual half-hood combo as described in my post, plus an additional $50 for the lights.
