Incentives on 2010 cars
Incentives on 2010 cars
Got a newsletter from one dealership as well as looked on the website of another to see lease/finance incentive programs . One forum member said all cars expect the Gt3 . The newsletter I got excluded the Panamera.
Either way this end of the month offers the first sales event of any kind that I have yet to see on the 997 and 997S till the end of this month.
If some recall last year's programs-- the cars sold fast and finding one with desireable options became harder . With production being lower this may be a great shopping opportunity.
I already see some dealerships with low inventory or unusual cars remaining. They may for instance have C2S coupes but more manuals than PDK or no full leather. Most dealerships i looked at have plenty of C2 cars but not nearly the number ofd C2S cars as last year. C4S coupes seem to be everywhere (manual and PDK).
The Cayenne will face a full redesign and those shopping for an SUV have plenty to choose from of this model . The new car looks amazing but the bargain shoppers can find great deals on this current model (new and used) .
The newsletter I got states that the offer is valid to the 31. Who knows if it will be extended but either way in my opinion -- this is a great time to shop.

did it include the Twin Turbo? i thought all the incentives were for all the cars except TT and GT3. What have people been getting off their purchases and at what rate? i know porsche had 2.9% for a while and last year i got 1.9% on my TT in september with over 10,000 off.

, or at least the TT cab - I have a receipt to show it.
To answer a few questions --
The newsletter only excluded the Panamera .
I also received an automated voice mail wishing me a "happy spring" this afternoon .
Tri silver expressed the Gt3 was off limits and it usually is . That car sells in its own market and is often priced at top dollar.
The Turbo as well is a completely different market. Most guys dropping 160+K on the car won't hiccup too much over a few extra dollars and the car is a newly launched car. It will boil down to how much they want to sell that car , as well as region and inventory.
Turbo cabs usually are easier to negotiate than coupes . I notice a lot of inventory on those in both Florida and So cal. In the norheast it's cab season (As forum member NYCPCAR calls it and I think he's correct) in spring .
Cayenne --is the bargain car .
The programs are usually an either -or type of thing.
In short a cash deal gets a bigger discount than a great finance rate. They don't usually do BOTH.
End on month is usually the best time to shop.
February sales was not too great. This month is what i feel is the sweet spot where the offers are out there and the cars haven'tr sold yet.
Good luck.
