Smoked
#21
Thanks for all the posts! I do need the 3rd (and 4th) tail light smoked as well -- overlooked that.
Although you can't see in the pics, also had the red seatbelts installed. Possibly doing artic silver rear center console to break up the sea of black inside and to complement the silver accents (e.g. door handles, vent trim, etc).
Also got in on that group buy of the V1 bracket to mount the V1 (including electrical harness). The Escort 9500ix is butt ugly on the windshield, though I love their GPS feature.

Copied but went a bit too dark???
I loved the smoked rear LED look and went to a local Auto Toy Store today. At the last minute, I went with the dark smoke instead of the medium. I am fine with the look but think the local GENDARMEs MAY notice, at least in the day time............................:ro lleyes:

I like the smoked tail lights, but of course, it's illegal in CA. In fact, there are two laws that cover it here. One that reads tail lights must be visible at a certain distance (and be red) and a second even stricter one that states any light that isn't DOT is illegal.

but here in cali, ur taillights will be pulled over everytime.. day or night.
however, the OP's (taylorcoleman) light will be fine as far as being hassled by the fiveoh..
BTW OP ur car is looking great !
