Some 997 with D1S bulbs and some with D2S ??
Some 997 with D1S bulbs and some with D2S ??
Hi guys,
So i did some research before getting my car on these boards and it seemed that the correct bulb replacement for the headlight was D1S.
So i went ahead and ordered some 6000k D1S bulbs. When i went to get them installed today they told me they were the wrong ones and that i need D2S.
Anyone know what's up with that?
Do some 997's use D1S and some use D2S? Did they start using D1S bulbs at some point? Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks

I recommend HOEN bulbs, they are extremely high quality.

I am running their "endurance" fogs, and they're a true flat yellow, and look amazing on a 997, IMO.
But take my advice when installing any bulbs: wear powder-free latex gloves when handling bulbs, you must not get any dirt, debris, or skin oils in particular on new bulbs.
