TPC Turbo
TPC Turbo
The new TPC Turbocharger sounds like a viable alternative (for my 2008 C2 Cab) to a new and higher priced car. Obviously this will void the warranty, for the most part, but what about clutch life and engine longevity? Are there other mods I can make to keep the added torque from taking as much toll on the car?
We have been supercharging and turbocharging NA porsche's since the late 80s. This is by far the most advanced system currently on the market in terms of build and tuning. Conservative boost levels(recommended 5psi) and ideal tuning make the system incredibly reliable. Depending on your style of driving there are a few other recommendations that we have. The clutch/flywheel is not a while you are in there job. Doing that at a later point when the original starts to fail will not only save you time, but also save you money. We have been installing and recommending the factory 3.8L clutch on Caymans that we have been turbo-ing since day 1... They hold in excess of 500whp w/o error.
My only real recommendation is to change your oil a little more often(we recommend 5k oil changes for both NA and FI porsches.
