My wife has an 07 MDX, good vehicle, cheap to maintain, not bad on gas for it's size, but boring to drive IMO.

avoid the MDX. I had a 2008 MDX and recently traded it in. That vehicle has a common electronical issue (not sure if they fixed it for the 2010 model) where the car wouldn't start and constantly drain the battery. Acura never did a recall and hasn't fessed up to the problem either. They just keep giving me new batteries (i've had about 6 new batteries replaces in the past 2 yrs). So I finally traded it in.

Other than the electronical issue, the vehicle performed well, didn't have any other problems, and was a pleasure to own. I really wanted to drive it to the grave (8 plus yrs) but before I traded it in, it would drain the battery every month.. oh well.

We have an 09 MDX Sport/Ent, it's a great car but the 10s have a few improvements over the older generation...

does the car tell you how many miles left on your tank of gas, avg speed, avg miles per gallon etc...? sales lady said no - i found that hard to believe.
Does it have a compass?

thanks

My 07 has been flawless, the worst problem we have had was some warped rotors and the wheels were oxidizing under the clear coat...both of were covered under warranty.

I had an 08 MDX, the 07 and 08 had a few unresolved issues from Acura, one of which was that the windows would screech going up or down during the summer months. The recirculation air box would whistle around 70 mph, the radio would mysteriously loose presets, and seat memory stopped working. Some of these, the dealer sent me back home saying they were known issues but Acura is still looking for a fix.

Nonetheless, sold the car, not primarily because of these problems, but I was a bit annoyed by them.

Yes it does, for all of those things, but not sure on the compass.

My wife has an 08 with about 55K miles on it that has been flawless. It is the second MDX we have had, and both have been great cars. She gets about 21 MPG out of hers with about a 60/40 split of highway and city miles.

it doesn't tell you how much is left in your gas tank. but it DOES tell you avg speed, avg miles per gallon. No compass. Look into the Mercedes GL. Before buying the MDX, go into the Acura forums and search for power, electronical power failure.

My wife has a 2010 MDX. I'm not an SUV guy but the MDX is pretty awesome. Very comfortable with lots of power. We checked out Lexus, Audi and MB. The Acura had them all beat hands down. Wasn't even a contest.

The 2010 does have a range display but no compass without the technology package.
