My aerokit was shipped also with the indentations, however, my bodyshop is excellent, not average, and just filled them in prefect prior to paint. They should have called you to discuss, i would try to convince them to take responsibility, provided your state does not issue front tags.

I have a 997.2 GT3, and those two little-tiny dimples are on the bumper from factory. They are very very small and no need to plug them. I guess they are there to point out the locations to drill the screws for the licence plate bracket, if appliable?

I also have clear bra installed on the front bumper, by Premier. My car is Altas Grey, and the film & dimples are virtually invisible. If look extremely hard enough within a few inches away, we can see the the clear bra film on the dimple, with a little space between the film and the surface.

Again, they are very very very tiny, and they are original from the factory. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

With best regards,

Unfortunately, it's already painted and installed. I didn't even know there were indentations until I saw my car after it's ready (the bumper was shipped directly to the body shop). They didn't tell me about it otherwise I would have told them to smooth it out...

The stock bumper doesn't have the little indentations because the stock license plate bracket has a notch on in that ensures proper centering when installing the bracket. If you run your fingers under the first ridge, just above the centre radiator opening, you'll feel a little bump there (on the stock unit). The bump mates with the notch on your license plate bracket and you drill holes to attach it.

I can only assume that the GT3 bumper doesn't have this bump for centering the bracket and that it just screws right into the bumper where the indents are.

This is my assumption.
