How to install driver's side mirror

Hello all,

I just received a really cool gift from a friend - a european driver's side mirror. Before I start taking things apart to install it, I thought I would check and see if anyone has experience/tips on how to do it.

Thanks,

Rick

The mirror removal is a very simple process. I will do my best to explain =)

-Remove the Driver side interior mirror triangle
-Remove the (3) T25 Torques that secure the mirror base
-Remove the Glass from mirror housings ( be gentle when doing this to avoid breaking the glass )
- Remove all of the T15 Torque fasteners that secure the internals
** Dont forget to remove the T10 on the bottom side of the mirror housing =)

If you have any more questions, feel free to send us a PM.

I'm assuming you mean "Remove the driver side mirror triangle". Just a point of clarification.

Thanks for the install tips. Leaving town for a week, so probably won't get it done until the beginning of June. I will post pics (before - with the flat and after - with the convex) once it is done.
