Considering the 997 started last, and finished 3rd, he had the best "best lap time" and best "TA" lap time, and he wasn't driving very aggressively, I would say the Carrera did OK.
How much experience do these drivers have? just because they have a fancy race suit, doesn't mean they can drive.

Means absoutly nothing.
But, my buddy has built a 370Z track car and regularly eats 996's, 997's as well as a bunch of other cars for lunch on track day.
That's cause he can drive very well.
