Question

Just spoke with Porsche NA customer service. They confirm that even though the part in question is an OEM Porsche part (same radiator used in the X51 kit), it is NOT on the approved parts list for the 997.2. They also have no info yet on a retrofit for the 2009-10 cars, although confirmed that 2011 MY cars will have the extra radiator.

So, in short, they told me that even this OEM part, installed by my dealer, would indeed be a warranty issue if somehting went wrong....

I agree it doesn't make sense, but seems to be the way it is.

SO, looking harder at an 07 TT or just drive the Targa 4S a bit easier???

Thanks again for everyone's input!

Final word from Porsche NA: the cener radiator kit from Suncoast will not work on the PDK cars. Not sure on a retrofit for MY 2009/2010 cars...

Looks like goodbye 997.2 C4S, hello 997.1 TT!

Thanks for everyone's thoughts!

Send an email and/or call Porsche directly. Tell them your problem and what the dealer is telling you. I think you sould be able to get them to guide you on how not to void your warranty.
