TPC 997 CT-520 Turbo Install.....so easy the wife can do it!

Well I thought with all the PM's I have been getting I had better update my thread........
I have not bothered TPC too much for details but rather followed another thread posted here where the guys 2005 car IS actually in the shop trying to get it right!
The few times I have talked to TPC,I really wasn't sure of the actual problem they are having and even if they gave me an explanation I am NOT sure I would understand it anyway...especially if it is ECU related!
What I have done IS requested a refund UNTIL they iron the issue out!
AND at that point we may re-visit the chance to try again!
Being that it is getting late in the season,I really do not want to put my car up on jack stands for any length of time.....
I know alot of you have commented/asked IF I was upset that I sold my supercharger to try this set-up?
Well,I cannot lie,YES I am a little upset that I didn't get to enjoy a FI set-up this summer BUT on the positive side I did get to drive my car,anyway !
Only bad thing IS if TPC doesn't figure out the issue,I will NOT be able to replace the charger and high flow cats for what I sold them for......and THAT's what bothers me the most!
I am glad the TPC didn't just send me a kit that THEY were not 110% happy with just to make ratings.......for that,you have to admire them!
So I await the refund and time will tell what I decide to do!
So for now.....sorry for the false alarm on the thread and I hope you understand THAT it is beyond my control!

I must have missed something big...
Curious what the issue is? I know there are a handful of guys running around with them and as far as I know, they are doing fine.

I was expecting the turbo kit first week of June so we could get it installed and could be rippin' around for the better part of summer!
Tough to ask for a refund BUT I figure I may as well get the money back and keep it in my bank account.....since it is so late in the year,I wouldn't install the turbo until march of the new year!
OH man......that could turn into a bad rumor....
Supposedly it is JUST the 05's....

I now TPC will find the problem I speak with Mike when He was building my car Hi is very smart guy And very busy person never see any owner of the company working like him I am very happy with my car never regrade doing my turbo .... 2005 owners just be patience.

Have you talked to IMA? I've heard R&D was completed on 996 and 997 twin turbo kits and have a few running around. I'm not sure if they have the same issue TPC is having with the 05 ECU's.

I have a cheeTTah twin turbo kit installed on my 996 C4S from IMA and absolutely love it. Listening to those turbo's spool is absolutely intoxicating, not to mention, the look on people's faces as I take off. Ivan (IMA) also has a twin turbo kit installed on a 997 GT3......that car is lightening fast!!!! TPC makes a very good single turbo kit as well. Much like IMA, TPC is also a great crew of guys to deal with. Much luck w/ the kit Stacy.......I, unlike some, was most interested in watching the "INSTALL".....

Anything else would require a different site and a Credit card number...
WE are just going to sit and watch to see IF TPC irons it out.......let the car in their shop get some miles on it and then we may proceed again with the video/install.I cannot afford(time and money) to be shipping things back and forth,especially when crossing borders!So until this is proven on the '05,we will just sit and wait!
