Just thought I would alert everyone to a great program I saw on TV the other day that shows where and how our cars (911) are made. The program was called Ultimate Factories: Porsche 911 and it was on the National Geographic channel on DirecTV. The program goes through the entire manufacturing process for the 911 (including the 2010 GT3) and gives a step by step view of the factory and assemblyline in Stutgart. It's pretty cool stuff. Unfortunately, I don't see the program showing again in my TV guide but maybe some of you have the channel on demand and might be able to watch it that way. Maybe just keep an eye out as it may show again. It's definitely worth watching if you can find it.

This program has been shown numerous times over the past few months, and will likely be repeated. They also did one on the Murcielago and the new Camaro factories. The robotics are amazing.

Its a great show The first one I saw was in like 2006 for the Ferrari 599. Porsche had one from that time period and it wasnt as good. BUT this new one has been Re-produced and its completely new (Porsche Ultimate Factories) And its a lot better.
