Does anyone know if the door panel needs to be removed to replace a blown door speaker? If so, is it difficult to do? Anyone try this yet?

 

Even though it looks like the speaker cover is separate, it is connected to the entire door panel. It is somewhat tricky your first time, but is easier with an extra set of hands. If you wish, you're welcome to call me or stop by and I'll help you swap them. Just be ready to get a bit dirty and do some work.

I downloaded this info Fall 2009.The author did a excellent job documenting what you need to do for the door panel removal. It came from a post on this Forum or from Rennlist. When I copy a post I usually keep track of the author and source but I didn't this time. My apologies.
