Stuffed Bose Subwoofer
I stuffed my woofer a few months ago, but can't detect any difference. I decided quite a while ago that good audio in these cars isn't important enough to me to spend a lot of time and money trying to get it. With all the tire noise etc. it seemed pointless to me to worry about audio sound quality.

I think the music to our ears in Porsche's is hearing the engine.
I notice a difference in bass with the rear seats up versus folded down in my coupe w/Bose. Down the bass is just awful. Seats up is a bit better. Too bad I like the look of the folded seats down better.
If i were to disconnect the sub would the system sound crappy? Im getting a gmg rollbar and i have to remove the sub will i get a error code for disconectig the sub?

Yes, if it helps. All Focals. I used the Integration IS165s and 2 sets of Polyglass 100 CVX's. I believe both are discontinued, which helped me to do the upgrade for an incredible bargain. I'll be adding to another thread with full details, I found the results were very surprising and quite good. The 165s are component 2 ways with 6.5" woofers. The 100s are 4" coaxes. Using coaxes in the doors and tweeters in the dash are not overly bright by any means. A 4" coax drops right into the doors, after you cut 2 tabs. The others are more challenging. The tweeters require significant plastic trimming in the dash and the woofers need custom 3/4" spacers for the doors. The rears need custom panels to secure them. However, I was amazed at the results and find the Bose amp has plenty of power to drive them without clipping. They integrate very well with the stock sub, providing lots more solid punch and clear, yet not glaring, highs. More to come with pics.

After listening to a wider range if music- It definitely decreases the range of the subwoofer. This has the effect of creating punchier tight bass.
But this might now be Ye best if you enjoy pop/hippo/edm
