So I've got a bit over 25k miles on my 2006 997 and just yesterday a wrench indicator popped up on the dash display saying "service in 28 days". Last scheduled service I had was at 16k miles (20k service including brake flush), back in 2008. IIRC there is no "30k service" specified by Porsche so what service interval is this, and what needs to be serviced? I called my dealer and even they weren't sure..

Service reminders are based on time and milage, not just milage.

I think that Durametric can clear that reminder.

anyone have insight? this is driving me nuts. I can kill the indicator with my Durametric but I want to know what "service" interval this is.
