Independent Service/Repair Shop in LA

I'm due for my 12K/2yr service, car was purchased new but don't feel like taking it to a dealer for. Anyone have any recommendations for indy shops in Los Angeles?

-thanks

I had good luck so far with this place so far. Ed seems to know what he's doing and his prices are fair. I will be going back to him next time I need something.

Call Bryan over at Stuttgart Performance, they're a sponsor over here. http://rss.rpmware.com/contact-us
They're not in Los Angeles, but they're definitely worth the drive. Totally legit guys, and will beat the dealer's prices by a long shot.
At 12k/2year all you need is the oil/oil filter change, and a brake fluid flush.

Costa Mesa is a long way to go for an oil change! You'll need an oil change again after you drive home from their shop...

Try Stuttgart Automotive in West Los Angeles. Nice people and very reasonable. And, much, much closer...
