Just a quick update to thank jjscab for 3 hours of his time yesterday as we replaced my cracked carbon fiber center console for a new alcantara one and shifter. The install went fairly well and would be a breeze if we had to do it again.

It's not a good sign when you end up with 2 screws left over though, right?

Anyone interested in switching out this part, do it yourself!

It probably would have taken two hours if Jim wasn't there drinking all your beer and telling you what you are doing wrong.

There was a lot of swearing directed toward me!

Jim started to document the event and quickly gave up when he realized he couldn't hold the beer and the camera at the same time. I'll take some shots of the finished product - it turned out nice.
