For street I run with what is recommended by the factory. No problems so far, and the car feels great! I can oversteer in a controlled manner when I want to and the car grips pretty damn well!

For the track I usually run 28-29 psi cold and adjust accordingly after.

Ran 3 sets of Re11 on my Cayman S in mixed track and road and the tire is fantastic. On a different level for dry traction than the PS2's while wet weather was just as good. Something is very wrong here as EVERY single other review of the tire has been glowing. Pretty much guarantee something is up with the suspension, pressures, or nail or defect in tire.

Another update: My suspension was fine, and everything checked out. Tire pressure, as previously stated before was fine. Had the tires remounted and rebalanced, no issues there. The next step is to pull them off and do a serious going over to look for imperfections or anything else. Maybe it's a New England thing, other guys I talk to up here are having similar issues and there was one example of a tire just shredding to death. Not sure if it's a regional shipment thing (sounds way to government conspiracy) or that our road are so bad (very possible) that increases turn-in and responsiveness becomes a liability up here.

Will post more as I continue to learn.

Same experience where you live with others running RE050A N0 or N1?

With RE-11s, I don't know anyone that's run the RE050As.

I used to run RE050A on my 350Z prior to my 997. I never felt the tires were confidence inspiring...

RE-11s feel great!

Re-11 and 050A are completely different design and compounds. The RE-11 is leaps and bounds better than the Re050 and all PS2's for that matter. They are heavier than the PS2's and Cups but seem to wear longer with better performance wet/dry than PS2 and at the minimum are equal to or better than the Cups.

RE-11 are available in 305/30/19 but not 295, correct? Also not N rated? Damon?

Correct they are not N-rated. Not sure about them being offered in 295 or not, but mine are 305/30/19 in the back.

RE050A N1 are not the same as RE050A N0. The N1s are excellent.
