I bought my 997.

I spent more than I wanted. I was looking for a 06-07 Carrera or s. Did not want to spend more than 60k. But found this 09 Carrera PDK with 7k miles for 68k and just could not resist.

Congrats! Another Carrera owner. These are excellent daily drivers, very comfortable than cars with PASM in normal mode, due to those 18 inchers. They have a little bouncy front end like old carrera's. Don't get into the upgrade bug too fast, these are cars are more than you need.

To the OP: I couldn't but notice that it seems you bought the car from a Ford dealer in Novato. Did he get the car as a trade-in? For what other car, I'm curious.

A lawyer who was friends with the owner of the Ford dealership. Bought the car and also owns two Harleys. Now he is all into taking his bikes to shows and rides. So he traded in for a commercial hauling pickup truck.

Well, I am cheating a little because I work for the dealership and run a different make of vehicle store, bit in the same auto family and that is cost I have been so torn between an 07/08 S, but since I am after an auto so my wife can drive(and I really want PDK over tip) and there are so many more differences, I think I am settled on a base pdk 2009.

That's a great setup! Are you in northern Cali for the heated seats? You got a great deal and your car is beautiful! Is this your first Porsche?
