2006 - C4S Cabriolet
Hi Everyone,
This is my 1st post, and I am hoping to learn more here from everyone. So, Thanks in advance =D
I am currently in the market for a C4S, I am more toward cabriolet over the coupe, assuming that they are as reliable.
I don't plan on doing any mod. I think the C4S which comes with the PASM suspension would be a better fit. But otherwise, I know very little on are the must get options. Non do I know what $$$$ I should expect to pay in the Seattle area. I have been to the Park Place Ltd. where the sale people seems to be rude. People at Barrier Porsche are nice, but I suspect it might be difficult to get a deal, plus they don't have a strong inventory on C4S like Park Place.
Can I get some of your opinions please!!!

Are you sold on the C4? I have an 06 C2S cab which I found at a more reasonable price than the all wheel drive ones I looked at. The top is top-notch. No probs for me. More of a roadster feel with the 6 speed. You can price compare nationwide on Autotrader as use what you find as bargaining for your local dealer.
I am looking into the AWD because I have 1 3 years old son, and will soon have a daughter in Nov.
I was originally look to get just a boxster, and keep my 06 Subaru STi, but since the boxster can help me carry 2 kids, I fig. the only way to get around is a 911. I am assuming the C4 & C4S won't be too much worst than my STi on snow proper snow tires in the snow, which is one of my big concern.
I'll check out Auto-Trader when I get home tonight, and thank you!!

Found this when I search under Porsche website
I found this 06 C4S @ 32420miles for $63900- does this price sounds about right?

Just did a quick search. I didn't realize how few C4S cabs were out there. I found several 2006/2007 C4 cabs (non-s) and dozens of C2s cabs all with under 20k miles, at dealerships for under 60k. I hope this helps in comparison. If you could get this one for under 60, I would say jump.
