she arrives today i've been told, and will be detailed/film installed tomorrow. wish i could just pick her up tomorrow, but it's all set for saturday morning.
what's really funny about this car, is that i went in to the dealer to order the car, but we did a quick search for a gt silver car, and there was only one in the usa with pdk (2011 model). car was in atlanta, and i happen to be going there the next day for a 48 hour business trip. snuck in a visit to the dealer, and it was everything i was looking for. full leather, pdk, sport exhaust, etc. it was like someone wanted me to buy this car. fate i guess.

This is one of the options on the car that I could have lived with and without, as described on the porsche web site: Extended navigation module with HDD and navigation data for almost all of Europe, dynamic route calculation (TMC), perspective map display, automatic route recording and back trace navigation as well as compass/GPS navigation for regions not digitalized.
I think it's just a little fancier mapping and routing for the Nav Mod. Why the need for this vs. just having it on all nav units
??
Anyways, I will find out soon enough if it was worth it, as they charge $2100 for it!!

Just got home from the dealer, and it feels good to be back in a tight and fast car again. Will post pics tomorrow as I have to run off to an event tonight. Car looks and feels great.
