New C2S

I am new to the forum

Took delivery of this 997.2 C2S in April

Sold my '08 GT3 last year

Tried to get as close as possible to GT3 experience but with rear seat (2wd, light, naturally aspirated, manual)

Specs/mods listed below -- sorry the pics aren't so good

Just thought I would share after getting so much great insight from everyone at 6Speed

Very nice options set. x51 + spasm on 997.2 should feel very nice.
are you going to go further with gt3 suspension mods or will keep it at stock max camber settings?

think i am going to keep stock suspension for now

SPASM to me is a handling improvement over PASM and the incremental 10mm of lowering also makes a difference, particularly w/11.5s and 305s in the back

Next and likely only mod, however, would be suspension

I think the SPASM suspension ride height is perfect -that extra 10mm really looks good and sounds like it handles better too! Are those Sport Classic tail lights? I see you went with the PCCBs - nice choice - I love mine!

$17K for X51 is a questionable expense but I bet it is nice to have it when you got it.

A thing that i do not like about Porsche marketing is what despite obvious existence of a such market they do not offer 4 seats car version with gt3 engine in it. Who knows why.

Nicely optioned car. I always love the black on black with black wheels look but am always too much of a coward to do it myself!

How would you compare the GT3 to the C2S with the X51?

the power/weight is actually pretty close, however, to me GT3 in a class by itself -- wish they made one with a rear seat!

as you owned one - is it even remotely possible to retrofit rear seats into gt3 or does it miss all seats mounting points altogether?

was told mk 1 had mounting hardware and mk 2 does not

in either case, believe it is a DOT no no because GT3 is certified as a 2 seater
