Looks pretty cool to me but I just checked the link to rennlist that gives the run down on the project. Holy crap,( can you say that on this site ) that looks like an awful lot of work for something that appears so simple. Does Porsche deliberately make everything so complicated ? Porsche engineers must suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder. Still, certainly would give one a sense of accomplishment once you had completed the retrofit and would be a unique mod.

 

i love this mod but i understand why some people don't like it. if the door cover had some carbon fiber or some other accent like stitching or if the piece of plastic was the same aluminum it would look even nicer.

 

Better hope your passengers don't confuse it for a grab handle!
