I love drives with scenic views...maybe we should get a group together and plan a trip somewhere. It would cool to get a bunch of cabs for a road trip!

 

Nothing beats that drive thru Big Sur in September although there are some great streches of HWY 1 north of San Fransisco. Stinson Beach, Tamales Bay. Our group, 993, 996, 2 997s, Cayenne GTS and an Aston Martin does an annual week long road trip from Newport Beach, usually to Mendocino. Up Hwy 1 and back thru the redwoods and wine country. I went to college in San Luis Obispo and used to drive that in my old 914. It was HUGE fun.

997S cab, top down, condors overhead, mountains to the right, ocean to the left. It just doesn't get any better. Lunch at Nepenthe, overnight at Ventana or Post Ranch, dinner in Carmel --- wow, can't wait to go this year although we may shorten it to Monterey. If we do I'll miss that beautiful twisty drive, top down, from Mendocino thru the Redwoods to Napa. Oh I'm day dreamin' now!!
