Addition to the stable
Addition to the stable
I just picked up a new GTR over the weekend, initially, I wasnt sure if it was the RIGHT car but after a 20min test drive and Im sold. The car has lots of power and handle exceptionally well. I will post some pics tonight when I get home.
Congrats!
I just made the switch from a GT-R to a 997.2 C2S. The Nissan is really an amazing car and gives you a lot of bang for the buck. I find myself missing the power rush the GT-R gave me, but so far I'm happy with my decision to fulfill the dream of owning a P-car.

J, yes. I didnt think I would like it but the buying experience from the Nissan dealership was outstanding. The GM gave me the key and told me to take the car out for spin without the salesman nor asking for my driver license. The extended drive with my wife made the buying decision easier.
Wife took over the E, she claims the GTR on Tuesday driving so I got rid of the MDX for an RR.

I only had my GT-R for a few months. It was a 2011 I bought new.
They are great cars, but a bit too rich for my blood as a track car. The brakes, fluids and tires are expensive and you will go through them all quickly on the track. Nissan does a good job hiding the weight, but the wear items still have to deal with close to 4k lbs of car and driver unless you do some weight loss mods which aren't cheap.
Enjoy Godzilla!

For sure, lets get together soon. Perhaps a drive this weekend to Palomar with T?
Here're some pics from my iPhone.

Hell of a car, congratulations. My friend has one, same color as well. He just put on a set of Kwv3's and it really transformed the car. I drove it before and after, and the cornering with the coilovers is incredible. No body roll through corners and it just feels so planted. Enjoy it in good health!
