I ended up purchasing (2) front lips and had them both shaved down about 3/4" just above the vents. I have some quality paint and always keep a fresh one ready in the garage so I can switch it out before it gets too beat up. They are easy to sand and touch up and this prevents them from getting destroyed so I anticipate many more years of use.

My garage is an underground unit, therefore there's a downward slope before a transition to a flat surface. Obviously I can't use Griot's bridge/ramp, or can I resurface the transition to make it more gradual. My only hesitation in installing an aerokit is not the replaceable lips, but having the whole front bumper pushed UP each time I enter/exit the garage. What do you guys think? Alan

If your only concern is regarding the front bumper being pushed up and don't mind replacing the front lip every few months, then, I would say don't worry and go ahead with the aerokit. In where I live(Hong Kong), I believe we have the worst parking situation in the world--always entering/exiting garages through steep ramps. And I have never encounter any problem with the front bumper being pushed out of place, just scratches on the front lower lip. But, of course, you still have to take it slow when going through ramps.

GT3Tek:

Please excuse my lack of Windows' Paint skills, but I'd like to see something like this with the front lip brought up in the middle similar to the lines of the new SC, but with the outers remaining the same or a tad shorter as my beautiful black electrical tape at the bottom shows (which works great hiding the scuffs by the way!).

Yes it is OEM. Tips are Fabspeed along with the rest of the exhaust.
