That was exactly my situation...GLWS. Moved on to a E92 M3 ZCP as a DD fun car.

Great Car GLWS - just curious as to why you would have gone to great lengths to customize and modify it ($25K) and then sell it. You'll take a big hit on the upgrades. Why not part those out and buy a cheap DD?
