i have managed today to break my steering wheel. got a spasm in my lower back and just readjusted myself in a seat, sort of pulled my body forward while grabbing top of a steering wheel with my left hand and alas - entire upper section of the wheel simply broke off and ended up in my hand.

it looks like this steering wheel inside has a hollow 1.5mm alloy semi-tube, and it is probably designed in such way so if you smash your head of that wheel`s top it should break off.

good thing i still had my stock steering wheel so i simply bolted it back as soon as i got back home but, well, that`s the story. damn thing is as fragile as a china set piece.
