I think that if you have a history of changing cars frequently no combination of options will entice you to keep it. Satisfaction and dissatisfaction in my view are self perpetuating processes. Know thyself.

So true! For me, it seems the "perfect" car and options are always out of reach. Then when it finally becomes in reach and is sitting in my garage, after the honeymoon the next "perfect" car occupies my thoughts. If only I could have a collection...but I think the same process would still apply. I would be changing them out all the time. I guess that's what makes it my hobby.

I tend to wait for the right car and when I get it, I keep it for a while. I change shirt very day, but I like to warm the car for a lot longer. Once I get the right car I stop looking and just enjoy it.
