Q: I am looking into buying a 911 from Carmax. They have an extended warranty does anyone have any experience with this "Max Care" Warranty?
I had a family member that bought there and had a good experience. My only worry is non CPO, but they seem to be a very reputable company and the warranty seems solid. Opinions?

I wish I could get one with the sport exhaust but this seems harder to come by especially when your keeping your budget around 50K.

Q: Does the Sport Chrono - adjust the exhaust louder and softer if you buy it later? Or is this only available on factory sport exhaust?

 

Yes, the exhaust will work correctly if you add it to a car equipped with Sport Chrono.

 

I have the warranty from Carmax and it already covered the horn going bad. I took it to my local Porsche dealer to get the repair done and got authorization from the warranty company.
