I have a stock non-altered set that came off of my 09' C2S (only had about 4K miles on them at best before I had the full PSE put on). If you are interested PM me.

And thats why I kept them, thinking someone may want to get a spare set altered and save their originals. (plus no down-time on the wait).

I talked with Fister (FDM) who sells modified side mufflers for various models and at that time they had no experience with any systems (i.e. 997.2) that had the center muffler setup. They felt their modification would not sound as good as it would on systems that did not have the center muffler. I have since replaced the center muffler assembly with an AWE crossover and am considering ordering a set of modified side cans from them. They will also take your cans and modify them or provide you the option of paying a core charge and sending your cans back after the swap.

I also have an 06 C2S and have modified cans from Fister. I really like them and have received complements from various folks like techs at the dealer, etc. No affiliation other than being a satisfied customer.

The Gundo hack on my mufflers was done by Fister and the welding work (and sound) is first rate. I bought them with the work already done so I still have my original mufflers in case I ever needed to revert to stock. The folks at the dealership loved the noise when I had my car in for its last service/
