IF you or anyone wants to come to Fabspeed or we will MEET you somewhere on the highway in the NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY, DELAWARE, PENNSYLVANNIA ( a reasonable drive from AMBLER PA) we will let you drive our 997 "S" that currently has the Fabspeed MAXFLO performance exhaust and the COLD AIR kit.
FURTHERMORE- if you come to our shop in TRENTON NJ we will install a systems so that you can TESTDRIVE it on your car.

1) Maxflo performance exhaust catback high performance mufflers
Specify regular 997 or 997 "S"
2) COLD AIR high performnace intake kit- increases COLD AIR flow and make power
3) 997 CARRERA CUP- muffler bypass pipes. Specify 997 or 997 "S"
FABSPEED supplied all 977 race cars with these and NUMEROUS 996 cars at the ROLEX 24 @ DAYTONA in 2005 and 2004.
4) 997 catalytic converter test pipes /replacement tubes- available BUT for racers an off road use only
5) 997 HEADERS- Equal lenth high performance headers with merge collector.

Joe, wow that's a great offer. It's a little too far for me to make the trip. I would like to know how does the sound compare from your mufflers, for an 05 997 {not including headers, or anything else}, to the Porsche sport exhaust on my 04 996?

As said above, we have exhaust for the 997 and 997S.
We have 2 sound levels (TUV and Export) for the mufflers. TUV is pretty similar to stock, just a little deeper sounds, the export has a good bit deeper growl and louder tone, but still ZERO itnerior resonence. We also offer racing catalytics (150 Cell I believe) and headers. If you wanted to go really loud we do have muffler bypass pipes as well
