That's got to be a joke. I don't see any Mach 5 in that dung beetle.

As for the rear tire looking smaller than the front...that's an optical illusion created by placing a huge *** in close proximity to the rear tire. If you blew up the front to similarly humungous proportions, the front tires would look small too .

Guys that jump at this thing I am guessing would have to be collectors because other then being rare and hard to get ahold of nothing about it makes any sense at all !

 

So we have the 911 Sport Classic, the GTS and now the Speedster. I could be enthusiastic about these models if I didn't feel that Porsche has seriously overpriced them all.

Together I see it as an attempt to generate as much cash from the 997 before it's replacement arrives.

 

I know I'm in the minority, but to me it looks like a turtle. Not attractive.

 

Tex - I don't think you are in the minority. The styling is indeed awful. Bleech! The handful of collectors out there who don't know what to do with their cash can have it.

If Smurfette was a female body builder... this would be her car.

 

I don't see the resemblence to the Mach5.

They should have instead taken design cues from Wonderwoman's invisble jet.

 

i wasn't saying that the new 997speedster looks like a mach 5..
i was just saying some of us "understand the speedsters style" (maybe not this particular one) because we watched speedracer when we were growing up..

 

Porsche is loosing their minds.... Speedster looks like something someone would do at home.... Not liking it...

 

personally i like the normal cab more.... and putting the price tag together this just sounds a little insane
